Personal Statement
I want to be a teacher since I was a child. The fundamental reason why I want to become a teacher is my father as he is a teacher. He is retired teacher and I believe that I have learned a lot of things form him and I started to love this job thanks to him. I will follow his footsteps. The another reason is that education is needed to build the future. It has a variety of opportunities such as personal development, person's life style, morals and so on. That's why, teachers are essential and the most important for person and also playing great role for life and changing the future.
When I was high school student, I was living in dormitory and sometimes my teachers asked to teach their children some needed courses so, I started to teach them the courses that they needed. Thus, I have some experiences about teaching.
I hope, this course is useful in my daily life, easy to follow and I want to learn needed knowledge and interesting something.
By the time, I graduate, I want to become teacher who can improve myselves in every respect.
About Me
My full name is Ezgi ERDİK. I was born on 27 June 1991. I am Turkish citizen. I am currently at Middle East Technical University studying Computer Education and Instructional Technology because of educatşon level. My home is in Foça and I have lived here since I was born.
When I was in high school , I interested in some activities such as playing guitar and folk dance. However, I did not learn them professionally because of insufficient time.
Lastly, I hope, all of my students will love me and I will win their respect and want to become teacher who can improve in every respect.
I'm really impressed by your decision about following your father's steps he must be a really good example.Also I totally agree with you that teachers are esssential on shaping the future and it's great that you've already experienced teaching, because I believe that there is a huge gap between theory and practice.

YanıtlaSilThe future, definitely, can only be built by education. I agree with you and this concept is important in a way that you can describe yourself as a future builder which is magnificent. In addition to this, I can clearly see that you have an instinct about teaching from your high school experiences. This also will help you so much in the reality. Finally, I hope you meet with respected and helpful professional that contribute your world view to develop and cultivate young brain your teaching life.

YanıtlaSilHi Ezgi! you're lucky because of your father. You must be proud of your father because he inspired you to be a teacher. I also like your thoughts about education. You' re right. Education builds our future life. Therefore, as a being future teachers, we have to be aware of this and according to this, we have to build our students eductaion.
